New Sky Multiroom with Old CARD

    Ok Situation is as follows.

    Currently have Sky HD working in front room.
    Bought SKY HD box on ebay to use in bedroom
    Ran cables, Reset and Installed Box, all good...
    Called Sky ordered multiroom Card (wait 5-10 days)
    So i have this White SKY card from a friends old Sky+ Subscription here as before i got my own i was using his while he moved back in with his mammy!
    So i Call up sky and give the old sky card number and ask for it to be assigned to my new multiroom sub and paired with my new box i bought on ebay....... Eh no bugger off it cant be done they say! But i think thats crap!

    Anyone know if this can be done?

    The card is still legally Sky's property so they have the final say on what can be done with it. They could've even asked for it to be returned to them, it's happened before.

    It sadly cannot be done as it is under someone else's name and account. You will need to wait for your own to arrive and have it set up. Boxes on the other hand can be transferred from one account to another.
