HRM problem with 310xt?

Not a sausage from the HRM for the last 2 runs. I've only had it for 6 months, so surprised it could be the HRM battery at this point. Did the usual re-scans on the watch, but no joy... Any thoughts? cheers,

Removed the battey and slotted it back..hey presto!
