I'm poor: yes I work in the public service. Could earn more in the private realm, but then 'my people' couldn't afford my services.

I work with the poor: ditto

I have performed miracles: yes, with people who thought they were incurable (I work in mental health)

I'm holy: yes I have a few holes

I teach others: yes I do.

I'm a model of excellence or perfection: well, I don't tend to do harm. I'm very ethical ie more so than most people I know. Definitely virtuous. Sometimes unwilllingly so (the opportunity doesn't arise). Good at my job. Good in personal life, often to my own disadvantage.

Publicly recognised, especially by canonisation: alas no.

Died, gone to heaven, can intercede for others: this being the internet, I could claim to have done so, but my honesty prevails. Definitely still alive.

So do I tick all the boxes?
1. exemplary model;
2. extraordinary teacher;
3. wonder worker or source of benevolent power;
4. intercessor;
5. selfless, ascetic behavior; and
6. possessor of a special and revelatory relation to the holy
