Surely VGA input on a screen that size kinda defeats the point...

I think not, surely most people who just want to use this as a computer monitor wouldnt need anything more and even just a vga port also allows you to connect an xbox360, anyway, what more would one expect in a 1080p monitor for 110€ delivered, although one with a hdmi in and a tv tuner is much more useful in the long run of course. And about the size thing, 22" seems to be kinda the standard size for monitors at this stage, they're after getting so cheap..

I had my Sammy 22" hooked up for a short while when waiting for a new lead and the difference was very noticeable, even surfing, the letters would be "chunky" and not clear, VGA at 22" is a no no, go whatever extra and get DVI, this for a tenner is easily a better buy

EDIT as subsequent posts indicate this monitor does not have DVI either

Agree thats worth a tenner extra but theres no mention of DVI on that one either!

Yeah I wouldn't touch this monitor either, the lack of DVI this day in age is a joke!
