    Hi

Im looking for some advice on how much to pay for a renault megane coupe year 2002 3 door 1.4 petrol. It has 67k miles on it and is in pretty good nick. It is being sold out of a garage in a few weeks.

On another note does anyone know how much a windscreen washer pump costs? Mine went on my current car and I am looking to get it replaced.

Lovely transport for the gay man about town. 2000 sounds about right.

Reminds me of the time the old school bully drove by in a canary yellow Megane Coupe. It put a lot of things into perspective

This is easy, there are no tips required. There's a few of them out there for less than that! (€1.5k) If he's asking much more than €2k then there's something wrong with him. Walk away.

I have looked them up on cbg and they are all advertised really expensive over 3 and 4k. I know tats only the advertising price but still!! Where have you seen these ones for 1.5k?

Buy&sell magazine. Loads of people post rediulious prices on teh interweb. That's common enough for anyone to chance their arm, swing by the same garage in three months and the car will probably still be there.

I'd try donedeal.ie, buy&sell magazine and local trader if it's in your region.
Also, phone the person you're buying the car from. Make them an offer and leave it at that, tell them to ring you back when they're ready to sell the car to you at the correct price. Salesmen are salesmen after all.

Ok thanks i will try them. Oh its already sold to the garage it got traded in for a new car so they got more than they would selling it privately.
