Can you take a hop rubber out of a two piece hop mech, and put it into the single piece? I know it's probably a stupid question but hey...it's how I learn :D

Ruber and bucking are identical as Lefty (Burger) Flip(per) has said... the difference is in the reciver however... a one piece hop wont go in a body designed for a two piecve without modification. Something to watch out for.

    Cheers peoples.

@FK: That's why I'm getting the Single piece hop...have a dboys metal body kit that I'm putting on a JG M4, so have to change the hop mech. Was just seeing if I needed a new bucking as well, or if I could use the current one.

I'd say do get one... I just got an element blue (soft one) Hop rubber and bucking to try out when i picked up my new madbull tightbore for my AK DMR project.... suprisingly accurate, and only cost 6€... sort of hard not to at that price... deffinately recomend them... similar performance to the guarder clear type, if not a little better perhaps as it has the V rubber.

@FK Guarder clear is the current one in my M4...only heard good things about it, so was hoping to keepsies :)

Its still good... its just the element blue one from my experience, has the softness and frictional qualities of the guarder, but the inverse V split nub design that really helps quite a bit imo. Not suggesting you bin the guarder, but if you're looking for new ones check them out. I'm fitting them to most of my guns. I have one in my 1j akdmr build.. thats capable of 40m headshots, and 50m bodyshots... nice hop :D Guarder however is pretty damn nice too :)
