I'd love to answer, but I'm afraid the mods around will declare it off topic or snip what I post.

I've started a new thread on this so there will be no need to snip or delete posts on this issue provided posts are kept on topic, happy posting.

We got our lights from National Lighting Showrooms now called National Lighting.

The transformer is integral to the base of the fitting and below it is smoked green glass
The fittings have adjustable arms to allow you ot postion the spots as wall or ceiling washers as you require.
You can also take the arms off and simply direct the spots directly downwards much as you would see from grouped recessed downlighters.
They came in a line of three or a group of four - we have the latter in our bathroom, two of the former in our kitchen and one of the former in our dining room
We removed a glass outer cover as these were fiddly to fix and unfix for cleaning using the screws - we prefer them this way now.
As with any of these fittings specify the 10,000 hr rated lamps unless you want to be forever changing bulbs.
I've resized the photos in irfanview and the photos came out pretty dark due to the sunny day.
Camera overcompensates for ambient light, so apologies for the image quality.

This was several years ago now and product ranges may be changed.
We cannot recall the name now, but it was affordable - just- and simple to fit.

National Lighting showrooms have changed location.http://www.nationallighting.ie/led/nlweb/asp/section.asp?s=1
They used to be down past Hollis Street on the way to Pearse Street beside the Roundabout Garage, the one that was knocked and had to be rebuilt.
You can download their current catalogues here and don't be afraid to consider commercial fittings in your home for unique look

Consider what's available in Hicken Lighting and Bob Bushells and other outlets.
Sometimes you get bargains in Bob's and sometimes you find equal approved in Hicken.

Connection: we are a private customer, we've sourced products from all three outlets as professionals and lighting consultants we've retained have done this as well.
