Just a simple question from a newcomer to all things Satellite related.

Having set up my dish at Astra 28.2E (all channels crystal clear), do I really need all the 'dead' channels & dead Satellites clogging up my STB?

Can I remove all the (hundreds of dead stations), leaving me just Astra 2 and all its channels?

Yes you can delete them but an easier way might be to do a factory reset and then when searching again set the search mode to FTA only if its possible with your boxes software.

Many thanks for that, will do .........

By the way, Classic FM TV is available on one of my set top boxes, but not on the other! - I have done a FTA satellite sweep but to no avail, maybe I need to input the tuning frequencies manually?

It is labled as Classic FM TV, although admittedly it kept showing 'oMusic' screen savers between pieces of music > maybe I need to check it out to see it its a copy of oMusic (with the wrong title)!

Classic FM TV renamed to Omusic about 2 yrs ago. Scanning on some older FTA boxes may not find the transponder needed so the channel would not be found.

So entering it manually mite be the best way details as follows.

    11223.67
    V
    27500
    2/3
