Being a Penshioner it can be a little confusing figureing out Sky's Priceing for existing customers when upgrading, so I was hopeing some of you members with a lot more knowledge than me could help me out. My setup is pretty straight forward, I have Sky+ in the main living room and a connection from RF2 to an ajoining room, however what I would like to get done is replace the sky+ box with a HD Box and move the Sky+ Box to the ajoining room so that we dont have to watch the same programmes is this possible and if so how much is it likely to cost.

    Regards Patsy

Your best bet would be to give them a ring.

    Hi Patsy.

With the new ways of getting the HD box (either with or without the HD pack) I am going to give you 2 prices.

To Upgrade to Sky+HD (without sub) and keep Sky+ :€229 and extra €15 per month

To Upgrade to Sky+HD (with sub) and keep Sky+ : €30 (Box is free) and extra €30 per month

I hope I have helped in some way.

    Regards

    Danny

Presume there's an installation cost in there somewhere too ? e.g. 2nd cable to main TV and new cable to 2nd TV ?

Was thinking of doing similar, but the €229 is a bit steep.

That said, it'd be just to get Sky+ and the new EPG, coz I've no interest in HD, and no HD TV.

So even €15 per month for the one TV (using the 2nd as a freeview) would be a waste.

But €15 x 12 is still less than the €229

What would you suggest, Danny ? Any offers that might cover this ?

Well if you already have a Sky+ already and want to upgrade to HD without the sub there is no offer available for that. There is also the option of getting one off ebay or adverts if your just replacing it yourself.
