Jesus I love going to bed.

I used love going to bed when I was younger. My siblings would want to stay up to watch cartoons and make every excuse to stay up.

But not me. After a long hard day, there's no feeling like snuggling up in a nice warm bed, pulling the duvet over yourself, with your head resting on pillows as soft as clouds. :rolleyes:

I have a lie in every day...if i have to leave the house at 7.30,i set my alam for 6.00 ....snooze till 6.10 then get up and make coffee and a bowl of quick oats with raisin,honey,and hot milk which i bring back and have in bed...that brings me up to around 6.30...then it's chill and watch a bit of tv till 7.15 then quick shower, dressed and out the door.................happy days..

I love my bed too. I'd lie in it all day if I could! I love going to bed early. On a weeknight, anything past 10 is late. I love when I have no plans, there's nothing on TV I want to watch and I can just settle in bed with a book by 9 o'clock. The part of the weekend I look forward to the most isn't socialising with my friends...it's having a lie in. On the weekends where I don't get to have a lie-in in my own bed (even if it's someone else's bed!) I feel empty

On a related note, I love my pyjamas. (Don't worry, I don't wear them outside the house). I got a fleecy pair for Christmas, and my favourite time of the week is getting home from work on a free Friday evening, changing into my pyjamas straight away and not moving for the evening. Bliss!

To repeat the sentiment of another poster - my bed is my favourite place in the world.

I love putting on my pyjamas and getting between clean sheets with a cup of tea, propping up two pillows to lean back on and watching a dvd or two on the laptop or doing a bit of reading or writing. (I obviously get up and brush my teeth and the like before I actually go to sleep)

Tea and bed are two of my favourite things. I'm telling you if I won the Lotto I wouldn't be extravagant I'd just drink more tea and sleep more

I love it far more in the morning than at night, ever moreso when I was a youth. :P

I work nights so the feeling is even better. I come home from work and am getting into bed for the day when everyone else is going out in the cold and rain. Best thing is, I get to go to bed for a nap before I go to work too. I love my bed

I love my bed the mostest on winter nights, all warmed up with the leccy blanket. Love being all snuggly under the duvet and chatting on the phone or watching tv.

Bed is the bestest place ever.:)

Came on here to get cheered up and this post has defo done the job! I'd forgotten just how much I LOVE my bed! Thanks guys, something this simple has cheered me right up. The simple pleasures are always the best aren't they.

Oh man I love my bed, it's the best place in the whole world! If I could turn my bed into a car and have someone drive me around in it I would It's the safest, warmest place I know!

As someone else said one of life's greatest pleasures is getting into bed when you've just put fresh sheets on that have dried on the lie....heaven

Reading this has made me want to go get on my jammies and get all tucked up in my leaba.....it really is the simple things!!

I am also a big fan of my bed. I like to go to bed really early, make a little fort and get myself set up for the evening with laptop, book, food and a drink and my jammies and electric blanket on.

I also love sleeping. It's my favourite thing to do. Especially afternoon naps!
