Biggest problem with that is judging your tail swing.

Keep to tight to the wall on your your RHS and when you swing left you will leave your tail lamp on the hard shoulder

why not, sure the coach wouldn't be either then.

I've been to a couple of places in Switzerland where its either roads like that or a train. Maybe not quite the number of switch backs as there but 8-10 easily. have to get materials in there somehow.

It's all down to co-operation. I wonder were the lorry and bus in communication?

they must have been judging by the amount of time they were stopped on either side of the corner.

Was thinking the same thing! I guess they could probably see each other, so maybe just using hand gestures?

Thats why coaches all travel the same way on The Ring of Kerry and on Slea Head in Dingle. Occasionally though, you might meet a foreign driver who doesn't know the routine. The section of the Ring from Molls Gap down past Ladies View leaves a lot to be desired and can cause problems with oncoming traffic, especially locals who know the score and still come tearing around blind bends, hanging over the centre white line!

At least the truck only has a rear tailswing. The coach will have a tailswing and front overhang not to mind the passengers watching your every move. It is also rigid and therefore a lot less manoeuverable than the artic. Give me the truck anyday! :)

Yeah, but you can't see the swing when you turn the wheel.

I know it is a different beast, but i recently saw an experienced driver get caught out with a rear steer trailer. It made a big mess!

Its the Troll Wall in Norway. Its an impressive road. we passed an over heating van on the way up. And we made it up in a transit with no clutch!

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
