Non toxic antifreeze

    Hi Does anyone have any idea where I can buy non toxic antifreeze for a water system??

    Might be worth your while having a chat with the sales rep to see if its what your after. They should also be able to clarify if its suitable for use in a "water system".

    At the bottom of the spec sheet it states:
    Nonautomotive applications
    Unlike traditional automotive engine coolants, PXLC5 does not contain silicate it is therefore well suited to use in nonautomotive applications including nonfood contact industrial heat transfer
    systems, secondary heat transfer heating and ventilation systems and solar panels where
    traditional silicate containing automotive products can cause serious problems as a result of
    silicate drop out.


    There are other companies out there such as cheveron that supply propylene glycol as well. I doubt any motor factors would sell the type (non toxic) of antifreeze you are looking for.
