Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes. I have wireless broadband from a wireless provider, one meg line reliable but expensive. Recently informed by imagine my line was now good for 4 meg broadband so I said yippee Ill take that. I have a Lynsky router and didn't want to get another but then discovered it had no DSL input. Found an old eircom one they sent me, long story, and plugged it straight into the phone socket. no filter or whatever you call it. The phone now appears f**ked. I can make outgoing calls but unless you answer it before the first ring stops, you will miss the call and it goes into no mans land somewhere. Is my line f***ed or is it just the terminal or is there something I can do about it. Thanks:eek:
This problem has since I posted resolved itself. Its a miracle !!!
