An Australian banker was caught looking at images of topless women on his computer, unaware that his actions were being broadcast live on TV.

The worker at Australia's Macquarie Bank was at his desk looking at images of Australian model Miranda Kerr, apparently totally oblivious to the live television interview that was taking place behind him.

During the broadcast the man turns and looks directly at the television camera, realising his actions had been caught on camera.

The incident was reported in many of the Australian daily newspapers and has become a hit on Youtube, attracting over 390,000 viewers.

A spokesman for Macquarie Bank said it was taking the matter seriously.

"Macquarie has strict policies in place surrounding the use of technology and the issue arising from today's live cross on Seven News is being dealt with internally."

I don't think he will be fired. Embarrassed definitely but it could be an elaborate prank by somebody who knew him. It wasn't that serious an offence, imagine if he was seen browsing through a known Jihadist website or something?

Unfortunately he works in a Bank and even worse he got nailed in public with hundreds of thousands of viewers watching live. Now even worse its being discussed on the other side of the world. The PR fallout from this especially at a time when banks are viewed with suspicion cannot be overstated.

If I remember correctly there were a few people fired from a bank in the IFSC a couple of years ago over a joke email with no piccies.

Bear in mind as well that the Aussies are going through a anti-porn crusade even banning pics of small breasted women because they say it encourages paedophilia !!!
