Long story short. Ihave been seeing a girl for the last month or so. Hanging out every weekend and met up a couple times mid week also. Now I was trying hard not to get to full on and was doing ok, it was casual enough.
We went away for the weekend last week great time, came home sunday and she stayed over all was good. I should mention we haven;t done the deed fully as of yet. Mainly due to a combination of drunkeness on both our parts and me not being forthright enough at times (she has told me this)

Anyway couple of days ago she texted about a funny story at the weekend. I rang her back about it a while later but the thing is I had a few pints on board...I think i may have sounded a bit strange and was asking when we were going to meet up again etc. This may sound like nothing and hopefully it is. It is just that I fear I may have come across a bit full on / needy. Things have been progressing naturally up until now and have been going really well.

Don't really know what Im asking really suppose would like to hear peoples thoughts if anyone has been in a similar situation. It may sound stupid but after the call the other night I have an uneasy feeling, hopefully just paranoia etc. We are planning to take off for a night at the weekend and she is due to ring me tomorrow, should I call if she doesn't.

Feel really stupid posting this as looking back over it there isn't really anything tangible to suggest I should have this anxiety, but for some reason I do.

    Hey Sweetie,

Of course you feel anxious, that's what it feels like at times when you're seeing a new person and you both are getting to know each other. Don't worry about the phone call too much, as you say you may have come across as needy BUT there's a good chance you may have just come accross as drunk! Seriously sweetie, I'd say that girl (you mention that you're both fond of a few scoops) will just think you may have just had one too many, that's assuming she even thought anything at all about it.

I'm sure everything is fine but if she doesn't ring you tomorrow as planned maybe send her a text and say "Hey, can't remember if we made plans the other night on the phone, I had a couple of drinks and can't remember exactly what we said", that could get a dialog going and then you can come across nice and casual and make her realise that if you did come across as needy then it really was just the booze.

In all honesty though, I'd say she'll ring you.

    Best of luck.
