He has 1 start and 1 sub appearance for Munster this season along with a not exactly spectactular AI series. Wouldn't be my pick anyway. Hartley is a better player imo, so is Swarwkeksikisiwieski (I can't spell it, sorry).

couldn't quite spell Swarwkeksikisiwieski either so decided Flannery was probably just as good.

Flannery is a proven big game player. When the pressure is on it seperates the men from the boys. Flannery has shown that he can handle pressure superbly. The others are younger and unproven.
