external lnb power

    guys, i have a satellite box which has no power out to the lnb.
    i have another sat box that works but i dont like using it.
    can i use the output voltage from this box to supply power to my other box as its the correct voltage or can i use an external power supply

    That wont work as the box used for viewing needs to select from 2 different voltages to change polarity from hor to vert.
