and dentist cant see me until thursday week.

its not sore or anything but its the outside of the molar where my tooth meets my inside of my cheek.

will it be okay to leave it that long?

is there anything i should do eating wise, etc

If it's not sensitive I guess one week won't make much difference.

as for eating, it depends how big the hole is and wheather it is badly decayed or not. so I would urge a degree of caution.

Take the chewing handy, keep it clean with your toothbrush and it will be fine for a week. Any other bits that chip would have had to be removed anyway.....

if a piece of porcelain has chipped off it can be repaired with a patch up. (60-100 euro).sometimes it works very well but very often it doesn't! if it doesn't you will need a new crown.

Thanks, got onto the dentist today, nowhere in Monaghan can see me to next week, rang few dentists in towns across the boarder near by and they cant see me to May!! So i rang a dentist in Newry and got an appointment for tommorrow. To get a crown in Monaghan it costs 700 euro...up in Aughnacloy 300 pounds and in Newry 330 pounds...big difference, big saving!!
