Transfer social offices

    Hi all,
I was on jobseekers casual allowance (I think that's it), last year.
Anyway I've gone back now and reapplied to Blanchardstown as I can get to this one using buses. My original claim which I closed off several months ago was in Maynooth which is a b*tch to get at even though its about 8km as the crow flies.
Today the sw worker told me in Blancardstown he'll have to send my application back to Maynooth where I will then bring my casual work sheets every week.

I'm just wondering does this sound normal? Is there anyway I could get Maynooth office to transfer to Blanchardstown?

I can get to Blanch in 15mins by bus but it takes the best part of an hour by bike or 2hours and 2 buses to get to Maynooth. You can see why I'm in favour of Blanchardstown!

    Thanks,
    congo_90
