    need some help here guys...
my wife has often siad thatshe would love to get dressed up in one of the big type dresses they used to wear in the early part of the last century. I am not sure what you would call them. but like you would see in films set back in the late 1800's or early 1900's. something like they used to wear on the little house on the praire if you remember that programme from years back.

where would ne find such a costume?

or better still where would one wear one on a night out?

if you run a search for "steam punk fashion" you may find something similar to what she is looking for. If that is a little too extream then try searching for "Late victorian Fashion" or even "Burlesque Fashions"
Have a look around at the various hits and see if you can narrow down what it is she is looking for and let us know.

As for wearing the outfit out, well just pop over to the Burlesque and Cabaret forum and check the events guide. Dressing up is always appricated there. Chat with the mod there, he only bites on request. :)

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.
