Cannot "add channel" Film4

I have Sky+ and a standard sky multiroom box in my home.

My problem is that on my Sky+ box I get the message "No satellite signal is being received" on Film4. When I try to add the channel frequency manually I get "No signal found".

However I do not experience either problem with the standard multiroom Sky box only on the Sky+ box. Which leads me to believe that the dish is picking up the signal but it is not being received on the Sky+ box

Anybody got any ideas on how to get Film4?

    try rebooting the box,

plug it out for a 20 seconds or so

DECT (digital) cordless phone nearby? If you have one switch it off or move it. Might cure it. These type of phones can interfere with Sky boxes.

Swop the dish inputs around ie. connect cable currently going into Dish Input 1, into Dish Input 2, and the cable currently going into Dish Input 2 into Dish Input 1. Does the problem remain?

    Cheers Kensington

Swapping the cables allowed me to pic up the channel on "Add Channel" but the signal is chopy and breaks up.

    Thanks for your help
