Freelance style journalism

    Hi,

    I am a freelance journalist and I have recently written an article about style, and the upcoming trends. I have sent it on to wow.ie, but no response was to be gotten. I was wondering does anyone know of any publications that are likely to take freelanced articles on fashion?

    I don't know much about fashion or style journalism, but...

    Wow.ie does not seem to be the kind of website which would pay (no name of any Ltd company, no address, no phone number or contact name etc). Even if you just want to build your portfolio, you have to ask if this site is well known or not? And what kind of reputation does it have?

    As for publications that are likely to take freelanced articles... try contacting some of the magazines that you read and could see you're self writing for.

    Even if you're no longer a student, maybe try getting some work experience in one of these magazines?
