Can itouch share internet connection with many phones?

I've just read an article where the itouch can connect to internet through a 3G phone.

It says you need Windows Mobile 5 or 6.

I have a Sony Ericsson w995, which doesn't have Windows Mobile.. Does anyone know if I could use Bluetooth or the phone's wi-fi to connect to the itouch and share the phone's internet connection?

This doesn't sound too far fetched so I'm hoping someone has done it. Would be nice to use internet anywhere on the itouch.

Might be possible. The instructions for setting up your phone as a modem for a laptop are here, you might be able to adapt them for your iPod

Yea I managed to get my macbook working through my phone's internet connection last night.. Really happy with that. It's just very hard to find info on it for itouch.

If you've an s60 device just install jokiaspot on your phone. Use it all the time with my Nokia e51.

Have you tried searching under iPod Touch, seeing as an iTouch is something completely different?

None. Or rather, there's no such thing as an iTouch. I think the point he was making was that if you're having trouble searching for info using the term "iTouch", you may have better luck if you use "iPod Touch" instead
