Who in ireland supply the best gear??
I follow the homebrew podcast on itunes and have seen them start to brew in a bag, making it easier for straining, are these brew bags available here?
Will my initial set-up cost be very expensive?

    Thanks in advance

The gear tends to be the same all over, but TheHomebrewCompany have the best selection. Shop around, though. You'll find a list of suppliers -- Irish and international -- here.

You can just use a muslin sheet. See guildofevil's piece about bag-brewing here.

Depends on what you want to do, and whether you're happy to make some of your own gear (wort chiller, kettle) or buy them pre-made. I'd say €300 would get you a long way toward an all-grain set-up.

Try www.wexbrew.com they have a good selection of all grain equipment and ingredients they also have the cheapest Corneilus keg that I have found to date @ €33.00 each and postage rates are good too.

    1-3kg €7.30, 3-5kg €8.90, 5-10kg €10.40, 10-20kg €13.40, 20-30kg €16.40
Most everyone else delivers any weight to anywhere on the island for €7. Unless your order is under a kilo, Wexford's postage rates are poor.

    Is that company still running?
