Oral water irrigators...

Has anyone had any good experiences with any of the brands of water irrigators, as regards battery life?

I'm on my 3rd Waterpik in about a year, and it's going back tomorrow (or the day after). I have no qualms about bringing them back under warranty, but because of the bad performance from the battery, I miss out on a session. I use the floss on a "hockey-stick" type yokes as well, but I really feel that the water jets help enormously. My hygenist remarked on how much better my gums were looking the last time I was in, and after the ribbing she game me the time before, I want to keep using the waterpik or similar.

So, anyone else with any recommendations for an oral irrigator that lasts for more than a couple of days on a charge, and continues to charge after more than a few months? Cordless preferred, but maybe corded is the only way to go?

I purchased 50 cordless waterpics to hand out to patients. about 6 of them packed up within a year.

I think the bigger version with a tank is better. The cord should not be a problem as you have to stand close to a sink anyway.

Little sister is another make and may even be better than waterpic??
