Extremely harsh on Land of the Lost. Its was entertaining enough and made me a chuckle on a good few occasions. It was nothing amazing but definitely not one of the worst films of the year.

This scene gave me a proper laugh -

I'm a big fan of Will Ferrell but every time i go to put something on, this gets pushed to the bottom of the pile.

I'd be interested in their choices of the decades. I must admit that last years Razzies were very poorly thought out. They just have everything to I Know Who killed Me.

Actually, wow, it must have been a big year for bad movies when New Moon didn't make the worst picture nomination.

No, it deserves to be up there. The 10% of actual smirk worthy scenes does not make up for the horrendously patchy editing and directing for the other 90%.

G.I Joe was at least a popcorn flick and an unintentional comedy. But land of the lost was supposed to be a comedy and failed miserably. It's just not consistently funny. There are gaping holes of 20 or so minutes throughout where nothing happens. I swear, I nearly fell asleep during that hallucinating scene.

You genuinely think it was one of the five worst movies of the year ? There was probably five worse movies in December alone. The Razzies seem more interested in embarrassing big stars than actually picking the worse movies or performances.

What about Bride Wars; Whiteout; Miss March; Transylmania or What Goes Up, for example ?

I watched Land of the Lost on a plane, thouroughly enjoyed it. Watched it on DVD...did not. I dunno why but it seems to just be a plane experience! :D

British & Irish movies are always overlooked by the people at Razzie

Sandra Bullock could land Oscar and Razzie on same year :D

Indeed, I hate anything Tony Scott directs. Most of his films are the cinematic equivalent of an epileptic fit. I swore allowed when I started watching Pelham and his name came up.

Think the Razzie joke has worn off at this point. I'm all for celebrating bad films, but they just try to shoehorn all the films they pick into every category (e.g. the worst couple one).

Also - the Room not amongst the worst of the decade? That film defines bad cinema in a way any of the 'other contenders' can't even dream of.

Fingers crossed that tit Shia Le Bouf gets an award. Everyone associated with Transformers should get beaten over the head with a razzie award. Especially Shia Le Bouf. God I hate him so much.

... while delivering a very clear "go f*ck yourself", albeit very politely:
“I brought the shooting script,” she added. “I’m willing to go through page by page, read the line the way I did it in the film and, if anyone wants to give me a line read of how I could’ve done it better…. We can do this till about 4 o’clock in the morning. Or you guys can just watch the movie and rethink your decision, and I’ll show up next year and we can go out for a drink afterward.”

And alleging they didn't even watch the film.

In fairness, it was a bit of a class act. It was a terrible film, but she gave an average performance. An average performance in a terrible film is not a terrible performance. Now, delivering a terrible performance in a terrible film, that takes a fair amount of work.

    Take a bow, Shia LaBeouf.
