    Hi all,

A few days ago in training my lower leg went a tiny bit too far forward. I felt it and immediately stopped. I didnt hear a popping sound so im relatively confident its not a torn acl. Its not painful for day to day activities, but on occasion it gets a little sore.

No looking for medical advice, i might go to the doctor if it gets worse. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else and how long it took to heal/feel better?

    Thanks all!

one symptom of an ACL tear is immediate large swelling around the joint, both times i tore mine it happened that way:(

before my first tear my knee was "niggling" at me for a few weeks but i ignored it, i'd say better be safe than sorry and go see a good sports physio to get it checked out. your average GP will be of be of very little use in correctly diagnosing an injury of this type in my experience.

in short, see a physio asap.
