Well the little woman picked up one of these for me today so I should be able to give it a good test tonight or tomorrow.

Haven't got to play with it yet but fingers crossed all is well with it

Just got one this morning.
Have had it up in the bedroom spying on the neighbours!:D

But seriously, gave it a wee bit of a test - focussed on some objects about 200 - 300m away (in todays very dull conditions) and it's as sharp as needs be.

For just under €25, you can't go wrong. If you're looking for a reasonably decent-quality cheapo spotting scope, best hightail down to Aldi right now!

i got the last one in parnell street in dublin this morning and can't believe they can make them for the money , its plenty good enough for spotting .22 holes at 100 yards and if it gets nicked or smashed well who cares.

There was about 12 - 15 of them still at around 9:40am.

11 oclock there were 2 left and a fella bought one just before me so i got the last one , there were people looking for them after me .

i think they put a few out every morning rather than all at once , so go at opening time if you really want one .

Picked up one of these yesterday, they seem to be good quality. There was at least a dozen left there too.

I went into my local aldi store looking for one and they told me they hadn't got any yet, they all went to a different store and will turn up sometime this week!!!(hopefully!!)

It's adequate.

Was looking at some geese about 600-700 yards away and there was some ghosting at the higher mag and it was hard to get perfect focus but for 25 quid it's no issue really
