I think the game is up. I'm selling out the next time there's any type of rise. Can't believe I fooled myself into thinking they were going to go back to €4 in value. David McWilliams piece in the Sunday Business Post yesterday summed it all up.

i bought back into AIB at €1.49 as i thought i might gamble for a quick upswing based on nothing to €2.00, now im at a loss..........AGAIN

Made really nice money from BOI and AIB between august and the day after nama, but stupidly bought back when they fell back.

It has finally sunk in that bank shares are bad. Happy with smurfit though.

still holding and bought more boi at 1.30, EU dragging out their NAMA and boi-aib recovery plan decision but i am confident they will pass nama and possibly force aib-boi to sell assets to raise capital as condition of recovery plan acceptance otherwise EU know the allternative is irish gov owning 100% of irish banks and there is no way the eu want this to happen, When we have eu acceptance of nama and aib-boi plan possibly by end of feb-early march we will see nice recovery rally for aib-boi.

If you think the game is up what makes you think they will rise again to allow you to get out? the market won't always offer you the opportunity to close at a profit....

Head up Comordha, you did what you taught was right at the time,
    Nobody invests money to loose.
But heres the thing, you dont have to recover your losses on that exact share, pick something that you have a bit more confidence in,DONT hold and Hold till there worthless,

    Just my 0.02c worth.

Whats more important: The shareholders or the people of this country?
