    Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent car cover? It will be a combination of indoors/outdoors (outdoors mostly), so something that is waterproof yet breathable would be ideal.

    Thanks

Carcoon, the outdoor one, pricey but worth it.

I had been looking at the carcoon before, but its not going to be in an area with a plug socket, so cant keep it inflated or air going through it.

The stormforce from cover-zone seems alright and not too badly priced.

car covers can cause problems with condensation and paint-chaffing so buy the best you can I guess. On the whole a cover would be better than the winter weather. Have you considered building a lean to car port? a DIY job which will keep off the rain but allow the breeze to blow through. Might be a better job at only a little extra cost.(they dont kepp off the cats though:mad:

Have been using Moltex covers for a long time - perfect for outdoors. They have a soft lining and rubberised outer. They let the car 'breathe' so you don't get condensation at all.

I think Moltex is the type of material, and mine is branded www.carcovers.eu. Got it on Ebay anyway

Just came across this thread while I was updating some info.......

I run Car Covers Ireland which is a wholly irish owned and irish run company based in Clonshaugh, D17. We have recently set up our webstore to streamline the business and provide customers with detailed info at the touch of a button. We are the approved distributor for Ireland and depending on what cover or model car you have we will be a little cheaper / dearer than our UK counterparts - usually +/- €5 but I'm sure you will all agree that keeping the business in Ireland is more important than ever. I try to do it as much as I possibly can at the moment so to cut a long story short - You know where we are gents;)

Certainly not. If you were somehow given that price it was a genuine mistake or you were quoted "€230 would be the most you would pay" as some covers are in that price range inc delivery. Our customer service is second to none which is why we have so many repeat customers so my opologies if I caused any confusion:o
