signal strength & quality varying!

I recently installed sky+ myself. I now notice that the signal strength & quality bars in the setup menu are showing 90% sometimes and then at other times, the signal on the second feed can be down to nothing whle feed 1 can be 80 to 90%. This is causing problems on a few channels 3e seems the worst and also one of the discovery channels breaks up.
This happens on very calm days as well as windy so its not wind that causing it.
The only thing I can think of is that I got a crap LNB when fitting the sky plus or maybe the quad lnb is too heavy for the arm on the dish and is pulling it out of the focus point. I would have thought though that both feeds would have the same signal quality?

It could be an LNBF/cable/Alignment problem but it could also be interference from a DECT phone or wirless router. Try turning them off or moving them when the problem occurs.

Dont have a wireless router and got rid of all the cordless phones. I will have a look at the dish again.

Before you look at the alignment, swap around the coax cables between Tuner 1 and Tuner 2 and see if the problems persists on Tuner 2 or not.
