    Hi Folks

I have a large oak kitchen table. The coat of varnish orig on it has been very poor and has slowly worn away. I love the table and want to renew the coat.

As i am going to do this myself. What would you think is the best type of varnish to use. I want it to be as tough as possible an dry as quick as possible,

lacquer is your best job, 2 pack is the best, but diamond coat is also very good.
