Tesco Sat4free? Question

I already have NTL (which I hate) and was thinking of getting the sat4free, but I was curious about a few things.

Will the dish I already have work with sat4free?

What stations does it have. I was hoping to get the main ones anyway... bbc1&2, ITV1, Channel 4. anything else is a bonus.

Is it simple enough to install or would I have to get someone in?

If I move house, will it work elsewhere? Assuming there is already a dish.

I was thinking of the HD sat4free, are there many HD stations?

    Please help:D

    Cheers

Take a look at www.freesat.co.uk for a list of channels available. Sat4Free was an Irish version of Freesat in everything but name.

Be aware that there seems to be no support for Sat4Free, the website has long disappeared.

Depending on the pricing, take a look for a Freesat box instead, at least they get firmware upgrades and have support available.

You are supposed to, but I've never seen anything more than two hours on my Sony Bravia which has a built in freesat tuner.

That's an mmds Aerial and is no use for satellite TV.
You would require a new dish for freesat/sat4free

Then there is something wrong with your TV, have youphoned Sony about it?

You could have a faulty TV, but it could also be a poorly aligned dish or faulty LNB. Each individual transponder carries approx 2 hours of EPG data, but a Freesat transponder on Eurobird carries the 7 day EPG data.

Can you watch Bloomberg TV? Can you watch Food Network? If yes to both of these, then the problem is most likely with the TV rather than alignment/LNB.
