Should be going, all going well of course !!

    Here's the top 20:
1 Gareth MacHale/Brian Murphy (Ford Focus WRC)
2 Tim McNulty/Paul Kiely (Subaru Impreza WRC)
3 Keith Cronin/Greg Shinnors (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9)
4 Aaron MacHale/TBA (Ford Focus WRC)
5 Patrick Elliott/Paul Goodman (Subaru Impreza WRC)
6 Kevin Barrett/Sean Mullally (Subaru Impreza WRC)
7 Alastair Fisher/Barry McNulty (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9)
8 Garry Jennings/David Moynihan (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9)
    9 Craig Breen/Gareth Roberts (Ford Fiesta S2000)
10 Mike Bird/Kevin Keane (Subaru Impreza WRC)
11 JJ Fleming/Robbie Ward (Subaru Impreza WRC)
    12 Richard Cathcart/Martin Brady (Subaru Impreza N12B)
14 Alan Ring/Adrian Deasy (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9)
    15 Jer O'Donovan/Sean Hayde (Subaru Impreza N12B)
16 Anthony O'Halloran/Charlie McEnery (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9)
    17 Andrew Bushe/Richard Hyland (Citroen C2 S1600)
18 Jonathan Greer/Kirsty Riddick (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9)
    19 Daniel McKenna/Andrew Grennan (Ford Escort Mk2)
20 Barry Meade/Johnny Hickey (Ford Escort RS)

I'd say it'll be between Mc Nulty and Mc Hale for the rally win, it's missing a few top names which is more than likely down to budgets.

I'd have to say that it'll be a tight battle between Gareth and Tim, both showed some brilliant pace last year. For GroupN I'd have my money on Jennings but that could be a bit of a long shot !! Cronin was originally meant to sit with Shinnors but he's now sitting with Barry Mc Nulty.

The road closures might give you an idea: http://www.galway.ie/en/Services/RoadsTransportation/Methodsofnetworkcontrol/TemporaryClosures/Listofclosures/Temporary%20Closure%20of%20Roads-Rally(Decided)2010.pdf

    That's him.

He is also the guy that won the FSTi championship, FST UK championship, FST Ireland championship, Irish Junior Rally championship, FST International Shootout and also won the Billy Coleman Award all in 2009.

A real talent for the future. Love to see him in the WRC

I'm not doubting his talent, but he is not close to good enough to make it as a professional . Kris Meeke is our only hope for an Irish wrc champion.
Finishing 2nd to daddys boy in what was a poor entry is nothing to jump up and down about.. The ITC is sha##ed in my opinion .
I hate McNulty and MacHale with equal passion but Tim; had he not punctured would have walked Galway.

It doesn't say much for Irish rallying when a teenager in a ford fiesta was setting fastest stage times again all the rich boys in their wrc's

Meeke would be quicker at the moment alright but I really do think Breen could have a big future in rallying ahead of him. 2009 was Breens first full year rallying and I think he done 3ish rallys in 2008, Meeke has been rallying since 2002. I really do think with a bit more experience behind the wheel he will get quicker and quicker and will be well able to compete with the big boys.

I hope I am right, we need more Irish at the top of international rallying.

btw: totally agree that Meeke is a great hope for WRC champion.

It wasn't a bad rally but McHale had it way too easy, it's a pity Eugene wasn't there to keep him on his toes.

IM NOT ONLY ON ABOUT THAT GUY IF OTHER DRIVERS WERE ABLE TO COMPETE IN F2000 CARS IN THE TARMAC RALLY CHAPIONSHIP I THINK THERE WOULD BE MANUFACTERS LOOKING AT OUR CHAMPIONSHIP MORE AND IV NO DOUBHTS THERES ALOT OF RALLY DRIVERS WHO CAN,T AFFORD WRC BUT COULD AFFORD THEM CARS AS THERE HALF D PRICE SO IT WOULD NOT ONLY BE GREAT FOR THE IRISH CHAPIONSHIP WITH NOT 2OR 5 COMPETING FOR TOP HONOUR WE MIGHT HAVE A 10 TO 15 GUYS COMPETING AND I BET DADDY BOY WOULDNT BEAT OTHERS GUYS OUT THERE AND I BET IF DAD BOY WAS DRIVING A SIMILER CAR BREEN WOULD OF BEAT HIM HANDS DOWN SHUR IF CRONIN DID,NT CRASH OUT HE WOULD OF BEAT MACHALE I BET HE WILL BEAT HIM IN A GROUP N CAR VERSUS THE WRC FOCUS . SORRY BOUT THE CAPS ONLY RELISED LOL AND IM TO LAZY TO START ALL OVER. DO U AGREE??/:)

i agree man he looked very neath and tidy goiing around bends on the road and with the roads bieng good he was like meeke a coupole of years ago i think in donegal when meeke had the citron so breen can of course make it so can cronin and with more manufacters ment to be joining the wrc i can see meeke going there and cronin and why not breen in a few years time does breen drive on the loose aswell if he does why not . im telling yee theres great talent in irish rallying but the price is cruel
