O'Donnacha libel case

    Does anyone have details of a recent libel case involving a blogger? O'Donnacha was the successful plaintiff. I suspect it was settled out of court.

    considering Google can only throw up 2 hits and 1 of them is this very thread and 1 other unrelated post, I'd say it'll never make the light of day.

    obviously the only good thing (in a way) is that there hasn't been a shift in the law nor a jurisprudential change in the way the courts deal with libel/slander and/or the new tort of defamation.

    Though it'll only be a matter of time until there's be a modern pronouncement on the new tort

    Announced settled at €100,000 to Plaintiff (he said, lazily not checking the link above but presuming it says just that). Presumably announcing the apology & settlement was part of the settlement.
