I am a Muppet and broke mine. Twanged the little clip and it aint going back on.

I know these are like hens teeth to get your hands on, anyone know if there is another one that will fit?

a shop may have spares but i know from cork shop the spares are normally snapped up, a bit of luck magpul released a pack of 4 they may need a little custom work to fit

    They work do you reckon?

They look like the M4 ones, which i tried and they failed :(

Do ya mean the adjuster slide thing? (as thats known for being a bit too easy to loose), i havent seen the hopup unit available as a single part but you can get the barrel set with it, .
If its just the barrel clip you should be able to use the ones from most M4 rifles out there. like the ones puding posted., :)

work is very custom, i;ve found most hop up units are a little different so the clips are hard to fit if there not the right one, normal comes down to trial and error , a dremal , sandpaper and a sharp knife

i kinda read into your post that it was the barrel clip but just want to check its this clip http://www.redbadger.org/ak-masada/single-gallery/4322551

yeah just the little clip slide bit on the top.

I'll have a go and whittle myself something from an M4 one tomorrow :)

Crappy design all said and done. Rumours of people modding M4 single piece ones to fit!

Fix that, then the motor is getting changed out, mine is making some freeky noises

the only advice with the barrel clips is to apply pressure to both sides o get them off, seen far to many people break them by pulling on one side and snapping the things

How badly is it damaged? could it be fixed with a little heat to reshape it or is it completely knackered?

Have you tuned the motor properly?

*looks at two little halves of the clip*

    Yeah its pretty buggered...

As for the motor, ill be honest, ive dont nowt to it, just noticed it was acting up today.

Suggestions of what to do? Its just grinding a bit and the piston isnt getting a full stroke some times?

Sounds more like a motor/gear issue really,.,

as masada said, if your getting grinding noises and the piston is not cycling correctly, someone will need to have a look inside the gearbox to see what going on it where

    yeah figuring that.

Need to give it to someone who knows what to do with it once we are down that line anyway.

Not risking a screw up on it.
