My boyfriend and me were having sex with a condom on. When he pulled out it was gone. It must be stuck inside, he didn't come but I dont know how I will get it out.

I tried to feel it but cant. I am rubbish with things like this, I am quite squeamish and cant use tampons etc

    help

God if i was you id head straight to your doctors, or even a&e.

Dont know too much about the inner workings and all that but im sure it cant be good for you.

You need to get it out asap!

Go to a doctor, they will be able to remove it.

It happened me once and I didnt go to a doctor, it came out by itself, in pieces, after a few days, your body will actually break it down and send it out by itself, but if youre worried, go get it removed.
It cant go anywhere, your body is a cul de sac there, but probably safest to have it taken out.

thanks for the replies. Something similar happened before where a condom split and the top part came off and was missing. I went to the Doctors and there was nothing in there, still dont know where it went. But its EUR 50 I havent got...

My boyfriend tried too to see if he could feel it but he can't either....

Username123 should I be able to feel it?

Neither of us can feel it, but maybe its too far in?

Even apart from the missing condom problem, a visit to your GP for a morning after pill prescription would probably be a good idea too.

thanks all, GP was not open on a Saturday so I had to go to a Swiftclinic.
While I was waiting I was sure I was wasting their time and it was not inside as neither myself or my boyfriend could locate the condom.

Anyway the female Doc came in and I told her and she said more often than not the condom is not there and I would be able to feel it if it was.

So she examined me and it WAS there! She got it out, she said I was lucky I had bothered to go and get it out as it was very deep inside back of the cervix or something and I would not have been able to get it out myself.

She also said it if had been left there I could have got septacemia.

    So I was lucky!

Oh god...I'm never using a condom again!!

It's pretty rare though and even rarer like in wondring's case that it cant be retrieved. Glad to hear it all went well in the end OP.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Not saying this is what happened in your instance OP, but there is a much higher occurrence of the condom getting 'lost' inside if it's not put on properly. According to a nurse friend of mine, this is most common if the condom is put on inside out.

Or if the particular brand of condom doesnt quite match up to your boyfriend, they shouldnt be able to just slip off like that!

thanks, i made sure the roll was on the outside and unrolled it before i put it on him. I dont think we are allowed say brands on here but the best known brand.

The condoms do seem a bit on the tight side, is that normal....even when rolled out all the way, I carefully stretch it apart and have to be careful putting it on so it doesn't snap like an elastic and hurt him. Seems to be tight, especially around the base but I thought that was the idea...? It looks slightly uncomfortable to me.....

Normally he holds the top when pulling out but this time the condom must have worked its way down and there was nothing there.

Nope. Stuff gettting stuck int here is bad. Act as locus for infection. If tampons get stuck in that is especially bad as a particular type of bug grows on them that can quickly lead to a bacteraemia and Toxic Shock Syndromehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toxic_shock_syndrome

That sounds like its too tight. It shouldn't be that hard to get on and it shouldn't be restricting at the base as you describe. Also it should not be uncomfortable for him. Probably it snapped off inside in the same manner as you describe happens when putting it on. You or he needs to find a new larger brand

If I'm understanding that correctly, thats your problem. You're supposed to unroll it as its going on, not before. Read the instructions that come in the box, you're supposed to hold the tip and unroll the condom down the penis to the base. Not unroll the condom first then apply it onto the penis.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks, we did use that method at first but its hard to roll down the thing as the band is so tight and it would constantly keep rolling back up. So thats why we did it the other way to stretch it out widthways if that makes sense. To get it all the way down twords th base..

But we try again the old way, cant afford any more trips to the doc!

    thanks all

Ok, if the condom is too tight to roll onto his penis, they're too small! Why not try some larger ones next time and see if they make a difference? You can get them in Ann Summers or Condompower.
