Dash lights - Automatic NCT Failure?

    Just wondering anout the following?

O/H has a 2005 Kia sportage that has an airbag warning light on constantly. Went to the garage a while ago and was told that it was due to a fault with one of the chassis sensors used to trigger the airbag in the event of an impact.

through some fantastic administrative muck ups every time we've gone to the garage to get it done - the part hasn't been there.

If she was to go to have the NCT (now due) would it automatically fail?

    Cheers

It would pass now but not from April onwards, NCT has been revised and will include airbag lights then.
