Seems cheap. However, from experience, a 'bit' of power is all is has.

I'm always pleasantly surprised by the 1.8i version of the 9-3, and dissapointed by the 1.8t. In my opinion, there isn't much between them performance wise.

The one linked looks in good condition. It has Alloys which were an upgrade on the Linear in 05.

If you will be running it for a while it should be a decent while, but if you were planning on selling it any time soon - stay away. Nothing sits around like a 1.8i Linear 9-3. It's the one car we've really had trouble shifting last year when they came back, and when they did finally move the pricing was shocking.

Thanks for the replies, seems positive enough..m I wouldn't be changing cars for long time so what I buy is fairly important.. I'l test drive it to see if i'm happy with the power first anyway.. just thought it was cheap but I suppose nothing is holding its value.. my transit that i paid 14000 for three years ago is worth about 3500 now if i'm lucky, well on a trade in anyway... Nice BMW but the dash being so dated always puts me off...

I'd be having a look at something like the Mondeo too, the ones below are rare Ghia models with nice spec, SCi engine is also alot more peppier and fuel efficent than the Opel unit found in the 9-3:
