I don't know why these threads pop up like this.. it would be far easier to send a quick e-mail to the respective companies and ask!.

Dublin bus runs, but they leave you in the middle of nowhere if you want to go to the city centre. I hadn't a clue where I was and I know Dublin pretty well...

I'd say Bus Eireann would be similar.

Threads like this = more traffic = more money from the site advertisers = more coke and hookers..

And let's not beat around the bush here... Coke and hookers are awesome.

Id suggest getting off at heuston? Then from Heuston to Connolly? That's if you're planning on coming for the festivities? Where in Dublin are you trying to get to?

    Wow OP you're organised.
    Do you do staff parties?

Most transport will run, typically to a Sunday Schedule, with some amendments.

Expect severe disruption and cancellations any where there is a parade.

Busáras is likely to remain operating on the day, with buses operating via the Port Tunnel.

You can fly from Galway to Dublin on the 17th for €25 with Aer Arran if you book it soon.

Ah that's fantastic. I want to see Cesar Milan, the dog whisper in the o2. Wanted to check if there was transport from galway to dublin before ordering tickets.

Thank God, at least someone isn't using St. Patrick's Day as an excuse for inane, idiotic pursuits.

He's a tiny little Mexican who can barely speak properly with the usual head up his arse American attitude.

I definitely got a train into and back from town two or three years ago on Paddys Day... so they should be running. Not sure if it was a Sunday service or what. Don't know about Buses. The Luas most likely won't be running through the city centre, if at all, because of the parade and all that.
