UPC keeps forgetting my favourites - anybody else having this issue?

So anyone with a UPC Digital TV connection will be familiar with the 'favourites' functionality.

This enables one to filter out the garbage/unused channels, leaving one with a (small) personal selection of channels.

I've saved them about 3 times now. However the box seems to suffer from amnesia every time it's powered down - and my favourites are forgotten. Anybody have any ideas?

I visited the UPC website, but it's bollocks.

Same thing happens to me so i don't bother anymore. Its a crap box - Thomson DVR.

Sound loses sync as well when pausing or fast forwarding etc. Channel changes slow and clunky, remote very badly laid out and also clunky to use.

Not even close to the Sky + interface and box.

I must say I'm very disappointed with it.

I thought I was going crazy for a while but now I realise they keep getting reset.

Anyone managed to figure out why this is happening or better still a solution?

Never happened on mine. I never fully power mine down, i.e. switch off at the socket or pull the plug out though.
