I am going to stay a few days with an old friend I haven't seen in ages....so need to look gorgeous - problem - my fab stretchy jeans are giving me a roll above the waistband due to a bit of weight gain (was sick) and am not about to buy a new pair, so........I need a smoothing thing so I can wear my equally fab top without worrying too much!

I have tried the usual M+S but didn't really find anything:( Will be in Blanchardstown tomorrow, so any suggestions please? I'm not fat as such, just a bit middle wobbly!! I'm a sort of M+S 12-14 ish......

They have good ones in Debenhams.
I like the ones that go up over your shoulders like bra straps so that they don't roll down.... depends on the top you're wearing with it though. They have a cut out bit so it fits under your bra.
Definitely helps me to smooth out any over jeans bulges.

Ah the aul Muffin Top over the jeans... I know how you feel...

Pennys have support that u wear over your underwear and attach to your bra... Works great but can be difficult to attach to your bra at the top [And indeed all around] So help may be required...

I love the way you felt the need to defend yourself when you said you put on weight.

I bought Penneys control knickers once and they control nothing:mad: I think I might need industrial strength.I'm going shopping tomorrow now, to give you all a bit more time :)

I have a really tight bodycon dress that makes me feel a bit.... curvy, shall we say! So I bought a pair of control pants in Penneys for a fiver and they do it for me anyway. I feel like I'm wrapped up in a huge piece of elastic, everything looks nice and smooth and no lumps and bumps! :)

I sort of need to control the bit above the knickers!:D

    ok, I bought this http://www.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptID=51885&CatID=51885&Grptyp=PRD&ItemId=16f44ca&cmRef=http://www.google.ie/search?client=opera&rls=en&q=Flexees+Torsette+Body+Briefer&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
in Mullingar, €53 with 20% off, so paid €42.40. Got the nude one, and it is GREAT! Soft, very comfortable, but squishes in all the wobbly bits without *overflow* and the best thing is that I can wear my own bra. I'm thrilled.

Except when I showed hubby - big mistake - he reminded me that the muffin top is not due to my op, but called it flabber  Like I didn't know that already :D

I'm sure you would be able to buy in Debenhams or something, it is Maidenform. Just realised that flabber is a mix of flabby blubber:eek::D
