China travel - info/advice/tips

    Hey there,

    I'm planning a three week trip to China around Sept for myself and my girlfriend.

    just wondering about a few questions that mabe anyone who's travelled there would be able to answer:

    1. I know the climate differs in China due to the sheer size of the country, but what's the general climate like around that time of year?

    2. Trains look very comfortable and seem to be the main mode of transport. Are they costly to travel on for a long journey?

    3. Accommodation - expensive/cheap?

    4. Tibet - would love to go into tibet for a few days. Visa requirement?

    5. Tours - I heard that tours out there can be very expensive, ie great wall of china?

    6. Vaccinations - we got all our jabs for travelling in Afica this time last year. Will we need to get any more?

    If anyone can give me any sites/links regarding china travel then it would be a great help to the planning.
