If you have no responsibilities, nothing tying to down to Dublin and want to tour, record, and make a few bob playing rock n roll, folky, country, surfy, punky, bluesy, gypsy music. get in touch. I've been playing for over 10 years and worked with such people as Mike Mills (REM), Kevin Rowland (Dexys Midnight Runners), Cathal Smythe (Madness), and Shane Macgowan. I recorded an album recently on Shane's label and have been playing a plethora of gigs ove the last year or so with various band members in such venues as Crawdaddy, The Academy, Vicar Street and the Olympia. The musicians I play with are fantastic but unfortunately have other responibilites which leaves me to have to piece together a band, often at the last minute, for gigs. I have a couple of weekly residencies in Dublin and run a weekly rock n roll club so i am full time doing music. I'm into Screamin Jay Hawkins, The Cramps, The Pogues, The Clash, The Ramones, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Wanda Jackson, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Roxy Music, Nico, The Velvet Underground, Nina Simone. So if this tickles your fancy give us a shout. as I said, i'm looking for musicians who are interested in playing full time and interested in getting totally absorbed in the project. its harder than finding a fecking wife. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiME1eDzmY4

    Hi,
My name is Clive.I seen your ad on boards and was wondering if you are still looking for a bass player?. I checked out your song on youtube and liked what I heard. I've been playing bass for about 13 years now.I mainly played in original bands but more recently I spent two years living in Ibiza playing in a covers band in an Irish bar, playing every night of the week, so I have a fair bit of gigging experience.I can also play the guitar and the drums to a reasonable enough standard, which might come in handy.
Anyway, if your interested in meeting up for a jam/chat you can email me at mouldycrackers@yahoo.ie or just reply to this, whatever suits you.

    Cheers,
    CLIVE

You still looking for a Drummer? I've years of experience, from Dublin and know your last Drummer Brian O'H. I think I saw you play, (with band) in Brogan's for the 250th Guinness Party, Jerry Fish and The Undertones played too.

Sounds cool. I'm a lead guitarist. Age 25 and lots of gigging experience. My old band is on www.myspace.com/piratetape
    I'd love to audition, thanks.
