There are gobshytes on every forum.
Just because everyone on a forum says one thing doesn't make it so.

One of the reasons Pros rarely post questions on a forum isn't because they don't have any ....

The Avalon is a great clean clear box - not huge on personality, but that's not why you would choose it.

Ya, the signal to noise ratio is very poor on Geartwitz.

Though some of the signal is at times some of the best advice you'll find online. It's picking through the noise that is the problem.

It's a case of pulling out the lows and beefing up the highs.

Or, better, use a pure 100% oxygen-free copper cable with golden plated connectors for your Internet connection. And put a bunch of Blackbody boxes around your modem. Should get rid of the noise in no time!

can't even take gearslutz seriously anymore after hearing a lot of the more prominent posters' music.
yes there are a tiny minority of people who have sense over there but overall it's just a bunch of nutbags who spend far too much money and time on buying toys.

in my head a lot of the guys over there live up to the stereotypes of 30 something star trek fans living in their mom's basements arguing furiously over really silly things.

    and the electronic music section....jesus.

We're a bit edgier here alright. We have the underlying sexual tension between yourself and Paul Brewer, and most recently DaDumTish has been also getting in on the action. This is what it sounds like when doves cry, indeed.
