    Hi Im thinking of going on a short break to waterford and have being looking into staying in Waterford castle was just wondering if anyone could tell me the price of a taxi from Waterford city to Waterford castle?

    High-Tower has obviously never been in a taxi before. Expect to pay more than 10 euro.

    City...dunmore road traffic....Ferry....Waterford Castle. I'd guess around 12-14 quid.

    have to agree with above post. Its gonna pricy enough but I wouldnt hazard a guess to be honest.

    If you can't afford the taxi you can't afford the castle.

    OR

    If you can afford Waterford castle, you won't worry about the taxi.

    Have got a taxi out to powerscourt many a time I can say you'll be paying atleast the 10e mark, more if you want the taxi to go across on the ferry to the actual castle (instead of you walking from the ferry)

    Ok out of town to the ferry will be around 10-13 euro. It'll be at least another 10 euro added on if you stay in the taxi on the ferry over.

    some taxi drivers were charging 50€ out to ballinakill over xmas but €7 to cork road :confused:
