International student

I'm not exactly sure where to post this. I'm from Iceland and I'm applying to Trinity as an undergraduate student. At first they told me to apply straight to the college as a Non-EU student and so I did. Recently they informed me my status had changed so I should apply again as an EU student through CAO. The deadline is approaching and I'm still kinda confused with the online application process. I have entered the information needed, does that mean CAO has received my application or do I need to submit it somehow? Also, the Admissions Office at Trinity said they would forward my supporting documents to CAO. Is there any way to know for sure that CAO has received them? Finally, my final second level exam results will be available in June, do you have any idea if offers will be made to international students before August in order to make necessary arrangements?
These questions may be silly, I just want to make sure I don't make any stupid mistakes :)

    Thanks in advance!

    Elin

I'm not the education expert around here but here's what I know anyway!

You could try ringing the CAO themselves at +353-(0)91-509800 they keep office hours and are available 9-5 but closed for lunch at 1

Again it's difficult to be sure since your results come out so early. As far as I know for the English A-levels (most common example) they usually received their offers around the same time as the Irish applicants however their results were published around the same time as ours. Then again it could be down to the admissions office in the college. The CAO should be able to tell you if you ring them for sure.

    Hope that helps
