    Hi Everyone,

I would like to warn anyone who uses the Osprey Gym in Naas to make sure they dont leave anything unattended in the Ladies changing room.

My girlfriend (who is a member of the club) was there today. She had just finished changing after using the pool when she walked into the shower area to check on her niece. When she returned to her locker her brand new pair of Ugg boots had been stolen.

She informed the staff on duty but they said there was nothing they could do. She is going to report the incident to Naas Garda station tomorrow.

I'm sorry about the Ugg boots but do you think it's fair to drag the name of this gym through the mud because you are annoyed at what is most likely an isolated incident? There's probably a "thief" in every gym in Ireland and your thread title suggests there has been an epidemic of such behaviour at that gym. One incident doesn't qualify, it was probably just some random oppurtunist who saw their chance and took it. I hate to be harsh but it just sounds like you're angry over the incident and this is your way of venting, scummy and all as the "thief" was.

I think that it's only fair that other people are told about this incident so the same thing doesn't happen to them. I would guess that under different circumstances you would have written the exact same post.

Seriously, you shouldn't leave anything unattended in any changing room anywhere.
