    Hi All

I like most Apple Technology, but they always seem to leave out things what seem obvious to me, i.e. in origional iPhone leaving our sending pic fuction and the the contacts sending function.

The next one I have a gripe with and I don't think that it exists but an iPod with an FM tuner, nt now a tuner via internet as what can be done with an ihone but for in the Gym I like to listen to the radio from time to time but cant because I have an IPod.. Sny and Phillips have one I cant see why its not on iPod.

Anyone know anything on this that i dont like is there a version out there?

It is the one feature I always felt was lacking. It is surely not that hard to implement it.

I presume you are referring to an IPOD Classic or similar.

Well check on ebay, you can buy FM tuners for your ipod - less than a tenner and work, I have one and would say that whilst the volume is less than the ipod music and you must turn off the tuner before disconnecting it - they are worth the price.

Alternatively I know there is an Apple version (seen it on Amazon) but this is over €50 and not sure it is worth that, might as well go the extra and buy a Nano!

Yeah I had a look at them on Amazon there thanks for that, I didnt know they existed. Its not clear how compatible it is. One big worry is that a lt of feedback suggests it only picks up radio poorley, .e not inide buildings and not great if you move about.. that doesnt sound apealing..

You mentioned the Nano, is it inbuilt in that?

    Ah eureka!

So iPod Nano has an FM tuner, thanks for that, yea would be worth going for the extra one..

5th Gen has built in tuner (the new model) - it is very good reception too -got wife one for xmas and I have borrowed it:p

My only problem is I have too much music for the Nano and no great desire to but another Ipod when classic is going strong.

The FM tuner which I have from ebay picks up and holds frequency just fine, not sure about inside buildings as I normally take it off then but, make sure that any radio signal is available inside said building. My issues with it are volume level and it is hard on the battery.
