TG4 - RTÉ NL - Ath Claith - Test Screen

Sorry mentioned this in another thread TG4 has been replaced by a Test Screen for RTÉ NL - Ath Cliath.

I retuned my TV, DTT now appearing on Ch. 61 and nearly 100% Signal.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I retuned my TV but I don't think I am getting a signal from Woodcock hill but the DTT channel changed on retuned and I got a better picture.

TG4 is still down. I am guessing I get it from Mount Leinster. RTL?

Actually the signal from Woodcock Hill has been perfect since Mullaghanish went down in early Jan. Normally I use Mullaghanish.

My aerial is pointing to Mullaghanish, the aerial is a hi-gain with masthead amp. I guess thats the reason I receive Woodcock Hill side-on to the aerial.

Where are you in the county in relation to Woodcock Hill?

Castletroy. I had a perfect picture until just after the DAB radio channels disappeared. I haven't had a decent day since then. My aerial is fine (checked analogue signal). I'm running the current software of PlayTV /PS3. I have 100% signal strength.

You should get perfect analogue and digital that close, I cannot get analogue from Woodcock Hill but am receiving excellent digital at the moment in the Murroe area. Have you tried with a digital tv?

Thanks for the info Cush. :-)
I don't have access to a TV with a digital tuner, unfortunately. I'm suspecting the problem originates with the PlayTV hardware / software.

All Gone, no signal. Just Analogue.

I am in North County Dublin. On the TV the transmitter name comes up as RTL.

DTT back but now in a different position, I am guessing that during the "tests" they are testing each mux, hence the change in channel?????
